King Cheetahs
(Acinonyx jubatus)

King cheetahs are not a separate species, just a different coloration pattern caused by a recessive gene, similar to black leopards and white tigers. The display chart above is from the De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre and shows how the gene is inherited.
